Just Awarded: Landscaping for Aurora at North Bethesda Center
E-Landscape is pleased to announce that we’ve been awarded the contract to provide commercial landscaping for the new Aurora at North Bethesda Center development.
Developed by LCOR, a leading real estate investment and development company, Aurora is the second residential phase of the planned 2.7 million square foot North Bethesda Center mixed-use development project adjacent to the White Flint Metro Station, just 20 minutes away from downtown Washington, DC. This 18-story luxury apartment building with 341 units sports a brick and glass facade and features a state-of-the-art fitness center, business center/breakfast room, community room, roof deck, swimming pool and gorgeous community gardens.
Designed by WDG Architects, with construction overseen by general contractor KBR Building Group, the building’s anticipated completion is July 2014 with leasing slated to begin in January 2014.
E-Landscape’s scope of work includes the use of engineered, light weight, Rooflite soil on-structure and in parts of a pocket park that is being installed over the building’s parking garage, as well as landscaping for the pocket park.
