Hampden Lane ApartmentsThis month, E-Landscape will begin work on the landscape installation at The Hampden Lane Apartments in Bethesda, Maryland. This project will once again pair E-Landscape with General Contractor Hamel Builders to carry out a beautiful and functional design by MHG Landscape Architects.

Hampden Lane is a new affordable rental housing project for individuals with special needs. The four-story wood frame structure designed by NOA Architects will consist of 12 one-bedroom units and will be built to LEED certification standards (however the client, the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County, will not formally apply for LEED certification).

E-Landscape will install a wide variety of native trees, shrubs and perennials as well as sod at the site to provide instant impact. We will also install brick and flagstone pavers that will compliment both the building and the landscape. In addition to planting and hardscaping, we will be installing a number of site furnishings such as a bike rack, benches, tables and chairs and planters.
